Back in Europe

I know this is not related to our trip last year, but I just wanted to test if this old blog still functions. So it indeed worked and thus reactivated this whole thingey. Just added some new journeys, although the name of the blog suggests we are somewhere far away. So, sorry for repeating and re editing my posts for now ;-).

But, of course, this is not true ;). We are back in Europe, and the first leg of the tour is in the Czech Republic

Now in Prague... Have had a real early flight from Rotterdam this morning (had to get up at 4:30 a.m.). Sis (in law) Rowena took us to the airport and after a cup of tea, we took off at 7:15 and arrived in Prague at 8:45, with a short taxi ride to the hotel. Cab driver was certainly speeding with 160 km/h, but surely knew where the speeding checks were...

The hotel is beautiful, pretty neat, modern and comfy. We have free wi-fi in the lobby, so that saves us from excessive roaming with our smartphones. We are exhausted, but we are going to check out the city in the next 3.5 days. We just explored the surroundings of our hotel (near Andel station), after we slept again from 11 to 2:30pm... But now we are going to relax a bit =).
