Hiya all, it has been about 4-5 days we kept you updated about our journey.
Wednesday August 4th, we took the airplane to Brisbane. But first, we needed to get to the airport by train. However, I wouldn't recommend using the aiport train in Sydney for a while, as they have the access fee policy for the Airport Line between Central and the Airport. It is a total rip-off, you need to pay $12 a person to get through the gates for nothing!!! Anyway, we checked in, and had 1 kg overweight, but the lady liked us so she let us pass. If not, we only had to pay $10 anyway. It was a cosy flight within 1 hour, and as we were desperately looking for a toilet, but Michelle was already at the gate picking us up! She's so sweet!
After a short ride, we arrived in Ferny Hills, the place where Hube & Michelle live. Surprisingly, Justins mum was on Skype and it was all nice to talk to her again. After a long chat in the evening, we went to bed.
The next day, August 5th, we had to get up early, as Michelle took us to Mt Coot-Tha, where we had this gorgeous view on Brisbane. She had her wedding up there, she's been telling us. Next, she drove us downtown Brisbane, where we got to look around the Southbank, and took the ferry on the Brisbane River. It was quite cold, but all fun! Next, Michelle dropped us in the city, where we had a nice stroll, and did a little shopping. In the evening we went out for dinner (steaks) with Tante Elly, Raymond and Tania and the kids, Hubie and Sarah and Lawrence. Next, we went out for clubbing with Tania, Lawrence, Hubie and Sarah in the Cloud Land, which was a very fancy club. The toilets were even well decorated! Then, we went to the Casino, we didn't really bet, but we had a nice dessert :). Finally, Tania delivered us back to Tante Elly, where we spend the night.
Friday, August 6th, we got up very early in the morning as we went with Tante Elly, Sarah, Lawrence, Tania and Jade to Stradbroke Island (route portion to be viewed at http://sportypal.com/Workouts/Details/528965?key=44a15330b9c6589cb916d9b96f318076cfd1ddfe&ms=0), where we have had magnificent views of Pacific, and we even saw Whales, Dolphins and Turtles! Tante Elly was also so strong for coming bushwalking with us! We tried to find some other nice play, which required us riding us on the beach, but we got bogged in the sand, so we often had to push the car, which was quite hilarious.
In the evening, Tim went to see Step Up 3D with Mia and Michelle, and Justin went to see a NRL Football Match in Robina/Skilled Park with Vincent and Jai, Hubie and Seth, as Justin is rooting for the Titans for a long time (and they've won!). Both of us had so much fun and it was all excellent.
Saturday, August 7th, We had to get up early to drive up to the Sunshine Coast (Noosa), where we had our first surfing lesson, and it was plain AWESOME. Tim did very well, and later on, Justin got it, too. We were planning to take another lesson the next day, but unfortunately, it was all booked. In the afternoon, we went to see our unit, and got all packed to got our own boat with a bbq, so that was just very chillaxing. We returned to the unit to have a powernap, and got awake at 6 pm to have some excellent dinner at this Thai restaurant, followed by yummy ice cream at Massimo's. Later that night we went to see Justins Mom and Rowena at Skype.
Sunday, August 8th, we got up at 8 am, to have breakfast at the beach, which was so yummy, as we were all hungry. But not until we have had this beautiful view from uphill Noosa. Next, we were driving back towards Brisbane to pack our stuff for the next five days. In the afternoon we went to Tante Elly's place to see the whole Brisbane family, which was so good to see them all again. We had another bushwalk, skyped Justins Parents and chatted with Laura, Tims sister, and just ate A LOT of food. In the evening, Oom Dolf and Tante Stien drove us to Vincents Place in Windaroo. Tomorrow, we'll go to the Gold Coast to explore a bit more!

hahahahah dat jullie met de oudste tante een wandeling gemaakt had (sportief hoor)ja je zie het maar op die leefttyd is je tante kras he :):D.
wauw great familie ,een wat kunnen jullie eten zeg ,wat zie ik ,ik gelooft mijn ogen niet (bierrrrrrrrrrrrrr )hoe smaakt het ?

veel plezier in de gold coast, ik had me daar het meeste vermaakt! als het weer goed is, kan je daar het beste surfen! het heet ook niet voor niets surfers paradise!

@Rees jaaaa echt leuk met iedereen. Ga denk ik tranen als we zaterdag weer naar huis gaan :(. Helaas is het weer vandaag omgeslagen, en is het gaan regenen. Gold Coast is op dit moment aan het verbouwen, en het was gisteren erg bewolkt, maar het was wel leuk om te gaan rondkijken. Surfen konden we niet echt doen. Maar goed, de GC life heb ik al beetje gedaan aangezien ik met Jai, Vince, Seth en Hube naar de Rugby League Titans-Eels ging :). Hehe, heb ook wat ingeslagen daar :p.
We gaan nu naar Mackay, naar Steven en Rebecca nu :).
