Bushwalking, Mountain trailing...

We got up early that day. Anna woke up at 5:00 am already, and Justin woke up at 6:00 am, although he got out of bed at 7:00 am. After some breakfast Michelle made us, we went for a drive towards the Sunshine Coast (Noosa), and in particular towards the mountain ranges to have these beautiful sceneries and lookouts!
We then headed for Noosa, where we met Michelle's mother and cousin Casey. We gazed upon her beautiful paintings and had a cup of tea, before we headed for the coast again. We trailed a path just along the coast, where we looked at the rough ocean and the many surfers that passed us by. Then, we noticed a wild koala hanging in one of the tree tops! After a while, we returned to Massimo's, the same place where Tim and I had ice cream two years ago! Yummy!
We drove back to northern Brisbane, where Michelle and Mia waited for us. After a short pitstop, we went to have dinner in the city. Vietnamese it was! So we had a table for 19 (as it included Tante Elly, Tante Stien, Oom Dolf, Lawrence, Sarah etc.), we had an amazing dinner and took some nice pictures! We actually planned to see the Riverfire lasers, but we missed it, so we just headed back home.
After playing Just Dance with Mia and Seth, the both of us packed our stuff and went to sleep. Mom actually stayed at Tante Elly this time, so she was ther.
Today, we went up early again to see Tante Elly, Lawrence, Sarah and the kids. After chit-chatting, we went to Tante Stien and oom Dolf for breakfast with the seven (Mia, Michelle, Hubert, Seth, Anna, Tim and Justin) of us. We had so much fun - Tante Stien already prepared a lot of food (lemper, spring rolls, etc), and we peeked through a lot of photo albums. Tante Stien showed us her garden and house, and after 11:30, it was time to leave for Springbrook, a nature park down the Gold Coast. We originally planned to go to the Gold Coast, later on to Byron Bay, but ultimately decided to do something else.
We took a short trail (we actually mistaken the proper waterfall trail) and then had a 2x3 km walk on just narrow paths, 200m downhill to see this giant waterfall. It was quite a challenging road, but we all managed to see the beauty of nature. As we were quite famished, we had a big lunch at 15:30. Whew! We actually agreed to meet Tania and the kids here, but we called her, and were about to meet in Coolangatta, a bordering town, where Michelle booked a hostel for the night, since we fly out at 8:40 in the morning from Gold Coast Airport... We had dinner at the Kirra Surf Club (although we actually got in at the wrong surf club haha) and had a good chat. Justin actually didn't eat his food, which was quite a surprise for everybody :p.
Anyway, we drove back to the hostel and there we said goodbye to everybody, which was again, very hard to do. Tomorrow we'll fly to Kuala Lumpur and then back to Indonesia. Stay tuned for the epilogue of our blog :).
Cheers!

Ronald:
Nice blog as always!
It doesn't surprise me Justin didn't eat anything that evening.
Knowing him, he was probably feeling really sad about leaving Australia soon!
Seems like y'all had some quality family time down there! -
