Hi peepz,
It is time to revive this travel blog with yet another episode ;).
The next few days I am in Portugal with Roos and Tim. It is a well deserved holiday break after working so much over the last few weeks.
Yesterday, we took off at Schiphol Airport and we were on time as we hit the ground again in Lisbon. We quickly collected our bagage, and queued for the taxi.
Now this taxi driver was awful as he was lost and took a detour. We noticed that right away as I kept track of the run with my GPS. Good God I l refused to pay his detour and his extra toll booths passages, not my problem! He angrily drove away when I gave him 55 euro.
Anyway, we were received by Gonçalo, and he showed us the apartment which is a very large one, just west of the city center. We rested a while, unpacked, got ourselves some groceries, and headed for the coastline west. We strolled towards the city center, laid down at the beach (water was cold!), listened to live music on stage, went for some sightseeing and had dinner.
We went back to the apartment as we were very sleepy and at 22:30 all of us were asleep already.
Well then, it's quite cloudy and windy today. We will do some shopping and try to rent bikes... cheers!
