The three of us are extremely excited, and really looking forward to see the beauty of nature, to experience the journey of a lifetime and to see our family and relatives again :).
We can already tell you the first week will be jam packed with travelling overland. First, Rowena & Arash's wedding is Saturday, and the next day we are already flying with Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong in the early afternoon (so our holiday might start with a lack of sleep ;)). We then head for Jakarta and stay in Tangerang. After scattering dad's ashes, we're in for some travelling to Bandung, Yogyakarta and Surabaya. By the time we'll travel to Bali, we have already been around for a week. We'll cover everything, as we'll carry Justins old laptop with us all the time.
It will be pretty tight schedule, so we hope to make the best of it (don't worry, we will!). But we should keep in the mind, the joy can be found in the journey.
As promised, here's our itinerary, probably everybody is now fully aware of:
SEP 09 - Fly out to Hong Kong
SEP 10 - Fly out to Jakarta
SEP 10-12 Jakarta
SEP 12-13 Bandung - Yogyakarta
SEP 13-15 Yogyakarta - Surabaya
SEP 16 Surabaya / Fly out to Bali
SEP 16-23 Bali
SEP 23 Fly out to Darwin-Brisbane
SEP 24-26 Brisbane
SEP 27 Gold Coast
SEP 28 Fly out to Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta
SEP 29 Fly out to Hong Kong (Mom stays in Jakarta)
SEP 30 Fly out to Amsterdam / arrival in Amsterdam
OCT 07 Mom flies out to Hong Kong / Jakarta
OCT 08 Mom arrives in Amsterdam
